Just got this notice that Sunland Park is hosting a meeting on 14 May, 5:30PM per attached notice.  I will be out of town.

More than likely, Sunland Park will approve the request for the entertainment center and the cannabis store.  

Since Emory is the only street that will provide access/egress, my questions for Officials from Sunland Park, NM (and probably more appropriately to El Paso) are:

Has a traffic study been done that shows the impact that these venues will have on the RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY OWNERS IN EL PASO, TEXAS?  when can we get a copy of the traffic study to discuss how it will affect all of us?

What is the size of the parking lots for each of these venues and what will be the hours of operation?  

How many vehicles are anticipated - on a daily basis and what can we do so that Sunland Park, New Mexico, identifies other access/egress points within Sunland Park?

As everyone knows, someone has already died because of speeding on Emory Road - how will El Paso be able to keep the residential areas safe?

There is a Catholic rectory at the corner of Sunland Park and Emory Road - what is the distance requirement for either of these businesses to be from a religious rectory?

I hope everyone can attend and take others and more questions to the meeting.

We want to be good neighbors but the proposed venues are not residential at all and we have got to look out for ourselves!
