Dr. Luke Yuan and Prof. C. S. Wu receive NACA Distinguished Achievement Award (1994)

NACA Honors Dr. Luke Yuan, Prof. Chien-shiung Wu, and Prof. Yuh-kang Pan

On May 14, 1994, the N.A.C.A. Distinguished Achievement Awards were presented to Dr. Luke Yuan, Professor Chien-shiung Wu, and Professor Yuh-kang Pan at N.A.C.A.'s Bi-Annual National Convention held in Boston. Ambassador Li Dao-yu and his wife took their first trip to Boston to held celebrate the event. The Convention program began with a lunch at noon with the Ambassador and Mrs. Li, who also met with the Mayor of Boston and State officials. A reception for the Ambassador and Mrs. Li, together with the the award recipients, was held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the afternoon. N.A.C.A. members and local Chinese community were invited. A banquet followed the reception, during which time the N.A.C.A. Distinguished Achievement Awards were presented.
