"Greetings, mortal. I am Ves, the Lorekeeper -- Goddess of Wisdom, Knowlege, Mysteries and Secrets. I see all that is hidden, I know all that goes unspoken. I know the past, the present and the future, and I know quite a few things that have never been and shall never come to pass.
Do I know everything? No. Were I to make such a claim, I would be no goddess of wisdom, merely a goddess of boasting and self-importance. Nobody can know everything -- though everyone knows something. And anyone may find the answers they seek, if they but look..."
Also known as the Lorekeeper, Ves is the goddess of wisdom, knowledge, mysteries and secrets. She is the patron goddess of the country of Vesia, a country famed for being run and governed by philosophers, and the location of the biggest libraries and most advances schools in the world.
Ves is without question the most mysterious of the gods; you can never quite tell what she is up to or what her true opinions are -- in fact, no mortal has ever seen her without those purple robes she always wears, and there has been quite a bit of speculation on what she looks like underneath, and whether she's wearing anything at all under those robes. In fact, the only one who might know is Vanadys.
Vanadys is quite possibly Ves's best friend, and perhaps there is more than just friendship between the two. What is certain is that Ves was the only one of the gods to actively oppose the banishing of Vanadys back when the world was created, though since the majority were for banishing her, Ves was powerless to stop it. She has ever since sought to give Vanadys what aid and advice she can, even if she's hindered from doing too much.
Though Ves herself claims she doesn't know everything, it's generally agreed that she pretty much does -- though she doesn't tell. She often speaks in riddles or cryptic statements, and is generally more in favor of guiding people to let them find things out for themselves than of outright telling them the answers.
