"Hey there! My name is Berrok, and I'm a smart, talented and all-around awesome dwarf who one day (and through absolutely no fault of my own) just happened to get mixed up in the affairs of certain gods...
...you know, I really should get around to telling that story someday.
Anyways, now I'm working for Vanadys, the Fallen Goddess, in her never-ending quest to make amends for bad stuff she did in the past. You could say I'm her odd-job dwarf; and believe me, when you work for a goddess, jobs can get extremely odd. Especially when you work alongside such people as Tufty (whose heart is in the right place) and Ruzika (whose brain isn't). Still, you gotta laugh."
If there had been such a thing as cars in the magic lands, Berrok would have been described as a "used car salesman." A smooth talker and a bit of a con man, he once got overconfident and sought to con the gods. Vanadys intervened in their punishment, and since then he has been with her as a sort of assistant, handyman and personal chef (he is a chef by trade and a pretty good one at that).
Berrok is very fond of money and wealth, and not always the most honest guy out there, but he's charming enough in his own way, and he does have a heart.
He's got a bit of an "older brother" attitude towards his childhood friend Tufty, and will usually look out for her -- and he's got a thing for Sergeant Bruma of the Agardyn Peacekeeper Troops, though so far their respective careers (she's a law enforcer and he's a con artist) have been a bit of a hindrance when it came to develop any proper relationship.
