"Hello, everyone! I am Eleon, God of the Sun! And I'm here to say: Peace out, man! The sun shines for everyone, and everyone who wants can freely enjoy my gifts. And friendship and kindness are the greatest gifts and treasures of all -- though if I'm to add a personal opinion, a really good party every now and then comes pretty close!"
Eleon, the Sun God, is also the god of friendship, laughter, joy, generosity (and partying). He is known as by far the most affable, friendly and inclusive of the gods, so it probably doesn't come as a big surprise that he's also one of the most popular gods among the mortals. The sun elves collectively follow him and his teachings, but he has plenty of fans among the other People as well -- in fact, he's pretty rare among the gods in that he has few, if any, real enemies; he gets along with almost everybody. He's also a great party lion, and the biggest festival of the year, the Sun Festival, is held in his honor.
Back at the creation of the world, when Vanadys thanks to her impatience almost ruined the creation before it was done, Eleon was the one who suggested taking the pieces and turning them into two separate worlds; a compromise that stopped most of the fighting over whether the world should contain magic or not. Though he didn't object to the casting out of Vanadys, he still felt sympathy for her and has, with varied levels of success, encouraged the other gods to go easy on her.
He's married to the two Moon Goddesses, Fenwyn and Senella. Together they have two daughters, Radana (Goddess of the Rainbow) and Zoen (Goddess of Thunder).
