Never heard of me? Nah, I'm not surprised -- I'm starting to get pretty big in, hmmm, certain social circles, but outside that crowd my name's not really that well-known. That might change, though. Yeah, some day, one way or the other, everyone's going to know my name. Hey, if you're still around by then you get automatic bragging points: 'I knew that guy BEFORE he was famous!'
But until then... no point in listening to rumors, okay? Especially if, say, a certain Fallen Goddess should mention me..."
There's not a lot of documented facts about Ranon. He's been around for centuries, and has been rumored to be involved in several strange happenings and weird magics -- in fact, quite a few Spellstruck people seem to have become Spellstruck either partly or wholly thanks to him. In some circles, just about everyone has a "Ranon story" on how he cheated or tricked them... or in some instances how he helped them.
Nobody knows just what he's planning or what he's up to. It's probably something dodgy, though.
