Morag claims to be the cousin of the mysterious Ranon -- and like him, she has been around for centuries and seems to show up at unexpected places. Unlike him, though, Morag seldom seems to get involved in anything and never seems to be up to anything. She just wanders the world without any sort of big plans: she doesn't really have any ambitions, and frankly she's rather lazy.

Somehow, though, she always seems to have the latest news and gossip about everything that's going on, and a lot of people have avoided disasters or somehow gotten ahead because they listened to the freckly redhead that happened to walk past.
