Fiona McDonna

Fiona McDonna is a Spellstruck human, who originally came from the mundane lands. She was a renowned author of children's books. She was in her seventies, and doing research for what would have been her twenty-ninth book, when a botched experiment transported her to the magic lands, where the magic transformed her back into a child of about eight.

Fiona was convinced that she had become one of the protagonists in one of her own books. and set off to go on the type of Grand Magical Adventure that her adult self had written about. Luckily she met up with an elf named Fintras, who despite not quite understanding what she was talking about, quickly realized that she needed help if she was going to go around on "adventures."
