Recipe Notes:

Place 2 quarts filered water in a 5 quart pot and heat to 160*F add the grains for 30 minutes

Jalapeño Peppers are cut into large pieces, remove stems and seeds if want less heat (I removed half).

Place Jalapeño Peppers into the hop sack tying it closed, then trim away excess material.

Remove grains from steep, Add booster, boil 5 min.

Add Jalapeño Peppers in sack, boil 10min, remove from heat.

Stir HME into mixture.

Fill keg with filtered cold water to the 4-quart mark on the back.

Pour WORT into keg. Bring the volume of the keg to the top of the "Quart" mark by adding more cold water. Stir vigorously to mix well.

Sprinkle yeast packets into keg and allow to sit for 30 minutes. Stir vigorously again, then screw on lid.

Ferment by placing the keg out of direct sunlight and in a location with a consistent temperature. Allow beer to ferment for 3 weeks at room temperature (between 68°-72°F).

Batch Notes:

Recipe calls for 6 small Jalapeño Peppers cut into chunks, stems and seeds removed. I added 6 large peppers and left half the stems and seeds in the pieces

Taste was nice, little sweeter than the last batch I made. Nice pepper flavor and not too over-powering
