1.5 gallons of Apple Cider (6 QT)
15g Orange Zest
1.5cups orange juice (from zested oranges)
400g Light Brown Sugar
1g Pumpkin pie spice
1g Cinnamon
8oz lactose
1/2tsp Yeast Nutrients
1 pk Champagne yeast.
The brown sugar, spices, and lactose are boiled in 4 cups of apple juice, remove heat and add the orange juice and Zest.
The temp got cooler than I wanted at Pitch time
OG = 1.082 @ 62*F
Bottled June 04, 2011
FG = 1.010 @ 72*F
ABV = 9.5%
