MrB. Classic American Blonde 1.21 lb, Extract, Extract

MrB. Classic American Blonde 1.00 oz, Pellet, 5 minutes

Jalapeño Peppers 6.00 unit, Other,

Mr. Beer Dry Ale Yeast 2.00 unit, Yeast, Temperature Range: 68°-76° F 2.0 GRAMS

Recipe Notes:

Fill keg with filtered cold water to the 4-quart mark on the back.

Jalapeño Peppers are cut into large pieces, remove stems and seeds if want less heat (I removed half).

Place Jalapeño Peppers into the hop sack tying it closed, then trim away excess material.

Using the sanitized measuring cup, place 1 quart of water into a clean 5-quart pot, then SLOWLY sprinkle in Booster™ while continually stirring to avoid clumping, heat to boil.

Stir in Jalapeño Peppers in sack, boil 5 min, remove from heat.

Stir HME into mixture.

Pour WORT into keg. Bring the volume of the keg to the top of the 8.5-quart mark by adding more cold water. Stir vigorously to mix well.

Sprinkle yeast packets into keg and allow to sit for 10 minutes. Stir vigorously again, then screw on lid.

Ferment by placing the keg out of direct sunlight and in a location with a consistent temperature. Allow beer to ferment for 3 weeks at room temperature (between 68°-76°F).

Batch Notes:

Recipe calls for 6 small Jalapeño Peppers cut into chuncks, stems and seeds removed. I added 6 medium-large peppers and left half the stems and seeds in the pieces

OG = 1.036 @ 66*F

FG = 1.007 @ 72*F

ABV = 3.8%

The beer had a nice pepper aroma and taste, the heat creapes up in the end.

Not to much heat, but very good flavor.
