EP-80 60mm Destabilizer Beam Rifle (UEEF) The EP-80 is an experimental Cyclone weapon developed by the UEEF for use against the Invid. Employing the same technology as the larger EU-15 Heavy Beam Cannon used by Shadow Fighters, the EP-80 Destabilizer provides firepower equal to that of the UEEF's primary Cyclone weapon, the EP-37 Beam Rifle, while providing the same force field defeating ability seen on the larger veritech weapon. the EP-80 is a large double barreled weapon, which is mounted on the shoulder of the Cyclone and fired bazooka style. The EP-80 was still classified as a prototype system when the UEEF began its final push to reclaim earth, however the weapon had been in low rate initial production for a year while the design team worked out the final design issues, and a number of EP-80's were deployed with special forces units for field testing on earth in 2043. Several of these were lost during the time between team insertion and the final battle of reflex point, and their exact fate is still unknown.M-50 "Holden" 18.5mm Heavy Shotgun. (UEDF, UEEF, ASC) The Holden is an assault shotgun designed in the 2020's for close quarters battle against armored opponents. Making use of Explosive shells and SLAP cluster rounds for anti-armor capability, the Holden is capable of defeating most advanced light body armor. The Holden uses a detachable magazine that slots into the butt stock of the weapon. The weapons special action orients each shell from vertical to horizontal when cycling fresh rounds. The weapon can make use of standard 18.5mm (12 gauge) ammunition, as well as anti-armor explosive projectiles and anti-armor cluster rounds using 7.62mm SLAP projectiles. The Holden was was gradually superseded in front line use by energy weaponry, but remained in the UEEF's arsenal for special operations and shipboard use. The Army of the Southern Cross also employed Holden's for special operations and global military police use, and the weapon was exported to UEG member states extensively. After the arrival of the Invid in 2031, the earth resistance found the Holden very useful due to its rugged design and ability to use common ammunition, although it did not pack the punch of the ASC and UEEF energy weapons.EP-26 Pulse Beam Rifle (UEEF) The EP-26 is the predecessor to the EP-37 Pulse Beam Rifle, used primarily with the VR-030 and VR-040 series Cyclones in the 2020's. The EP-26 has roughly 25% less less firepower than its successor, with similar range, payload, and rate of fire. The EP-26 saw use against the Robotech Masters by UEEF troops sent back to assist earth in 2030, and against the Invid, both on Earth and in the former Tyrolian Empire. On Earth, the EP-26 saw extensive use, even after the 10th Mars Division introduced the EP-37 to the resistance. Although the EP-37 was preferred for its higher firepower, the EP-26 was a capable and effective weapon for use against the Invid, and many resistance groups employed it as a support weapon.

Tactical Computer (UEEF, ASC) This portable computer system provides a commander on the ground with battlefield information and allows that commander to manage a battle. weighing about 10 pounds (4.5 kilograms), the Tactical computer is not designed for mobile use in the field, but rather for vehicle mounted commanders or within field bunkers. equipped with a large LCD touch screen, a fold away QWERTY keyboard, data cable port, a Data Disc reader, and programmable Macro buttons the system is easy to mage, but its primary feature is its data network optimized radio system, allowing it to access information from any data network capable UEG unit within its 15 mile (24.1 kilometer) range and use that data to create a composite overview of the battlefield. Using an attachable headset and the datanet, a user can issue instructions to any other connected unit within the systems range, and if connected to an external radio system, can be used as a relay to increase the range of a datanet between units. The ASC deployed Tactical Computers with non-mecha units during the war with the Robotech Masters, which proved of limited use due to the nature of that conflict. The Anti-Invid resistance employed tactical computers as well, both surviving ASc models and those obtained from UEEF sources. (A Tactical Computer provides +2 initiative to any UEG military unit connected to it. The system can withstand most earth environmental conditions, both freezing cold and extreme heat, without loosing function.)AN/PAQ-1 Laser Target Designator (UEDF, ASC, UEEF, Resistance, Anti-Unification Forces, Independent States.) This rifle looking weapon is a Global war era laser designator used to mark targets for guided missile and bomb attacks. Despite having been developed during the Cold War, this system remained in use with the UEG military due to its simple rugged design. Weighing 16 pounds (7.25 kilograms), with a range of 5000 feet (1524 meters), this system is infantry portable, and saw extensive use with special forces. its invisible infrared beam creates a spot that is detectable by any IR or night vision optic system, and can provide range finding information to the target. The system comes with a telescopic scope with 5x zoom and IR and night vision viewing modes. the primary purpose of this system is to designate targets for guided weapon attacks (missile attacks against laser designated targets receive a +4 to strike. Guided artillery shells and bombs are also available, although less common. Attacks against designated targets do not require line of sight from the firing unit, although the missile forfeit any onboard to strike bonus due to being fired blind.) This system was very popular in the post-Zentreadi world, used by UEG and Independent forces alike, and during the Invid occupation it was used extensively by the resistance.AN/PRC-500 SATCOMM (UEDF, ASC, UEEF, Resistance, Anti-Unification Forces, Independent States.) This12lbs/5.4kg device is a portable satellite radio communications system. Designed for ease of carry, the radio, antenna, and handset is built into a wide briefcase style housing. The Antenna is built into the top lid, and requires proper aiming for best signal. The lower section houses the radio hardware (including encryption) and phone style handset, as well as compartments with instruction manuals and information sheets to assist in the proper aiming and placement. The system has sufficient range to send and receive out to geostationary orbit, however due to the directional signal it transmits, it has limited ability communicating with ground based radio's. The system includes connector ports for attachment to external devices, such as conventional military radios to augment their capabilities or to computer systems for transfer of digital data. The AN/PRC-500 and similar systems became a standard sight after the 1st robotech war, due to its ease of manufacture and use. Used extensively by UEG agencies as well as private organizations, they formed the backbone of communications during the early reconstruction. Use slacked off until the arrival of the invid, when satellite comm systems became a lifeline, at first using surviving communications satellites to co-ordinate between resistance units around the planet, and later to communicate with the lunar bases via hidden orbital relay's.
