HMMWV - Humvee, Tumak

Constructed in Kaliningrad, the M1114 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle has become the standard light combat and transport vehicle of the Baltic States. With a modular weapon station and easily up armored with bolt-on kits, the basic HMMWV is an excellent light combat unit, able to carry a squad of soldiers at up to 55mph cross country. Standard Armament options are 12.7 and 14.5mm Machine guns in either manned or remote operated mounts, a single tube 125mm Missile launcher, or a Laser Designator system.

the M997 Ambulance is a modified HMMWV frame fitted with an enlarged hard shell troop bay for 4 Litters and up to 8 ambulatory patients. Only equipped with the most basic medical support systems, the M997 Ambulance is used primarily to move wounded personnel to field aid stations and Field Hospitals.

The M1123 Cargo Vehicle variant of the HMMWV replaces the rear seating with an extended open topped cargo bed, capable of holding 8 personnel or up to 2 tons of cargo. to accommodate the additional mass of the cargo, the vehicle is fitted with a reinforced frame, drive train, and suspension. Although not designed with an enclosed cargo area, the M1123 Cargo HMMWV can be fitted with both cloth and armored hard shell covers over the cargo bed to protect its cargo from the elements.

The M1125 Command Communications Vehicle is a modified M1114 HMMWV, the rear passenger area refitted with a hard shell module to hold secure long range communications systems, including satellite comm systems, as well as command and control computer systems. the Vehicle has 3 stations in the rear bay, but can carry up to 5 people in cramped conditions.

The M1126 'slammer' Air Defense Vehicle is a Mobile surface to air vehicle developed by the Baltic States, although based on a global war era American concept demonstrator. Effectively a M1114 HMMWV fitted with a turreted launch system for 6 medium range missiles, it provides mobile air defense for E.B.S.I.S. forces and their allies. The M1126 is not equipped with a surface to air targeting radar, and must be teamed with a dedicated radar vehicle to aim standard radar guided missiles. In Baltic service, the Slammer-ADV is armed with four AIM-120Eb SLAMRAAM-ER, surfaced launched extended range versions of the AIM-120 AMRAAM air to air missile used by the E.B.S.I.S. Air Force, and two AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles, which provide close in air defense.. The AIM-120Eb is an advanced missile that includes bearings only firing capability, allowing the firing vehicle to launch without the use of a separate radar vehicle, after which the Missiles on board seeker is capable of finding and locking onto the aircraft. Such launches are less accurate than when provided with specific targeting data, but allow for greater versatility of deployment.

The M1128 Radar Vehicle mounts a Pulse Doppler Air-Search radar for detecting aircraft and targeting surface to air missiles. Fitted to a M1114 vehicle frame, the system can cover a 50 mile/80km radius, with the ability to provide targeting data for up to six air defense vehicles. The on board power generators for the radar system have an operational duration of 12 hours using the vehicles double sized fuel storage.

BMP-1/BWP-1

The E.B.S.I.S. inherited over a thousand ex-soviet BMP-1's from Poland and Belarus. although The BMP-1 was obsolete, its simplicity and the existence of factories within Poland capable of producing the BMP-1 resulted in it becoming the standard Infantry Fighting Vehicle of the Baltic States until 2020, when it was replaced by the KTO Rosomak. In an attempt to increase the combat capability of this vehicle, the Baltic states has developed a series of 73mm ATGM's and Surface to Air Missiles capable of being fired from the vehicles recoil less cannon.

KTO Rosomak

Based on a global war Finnish eight wheeled IFV, the Rosomak is produced post rain of death in Poland and Estonia. an 8x8 wheeled vehicle capable of cross country speeds reaching 60mph/100kmh, with a range of 500 miles/800km, the KTO Rosomak gradually replaced the BMP in E.B.S.I.S. service, fully replacing the it by 2020. the Rosomak is a popular export item to E.B.S.I.S. allies and the non-aligned nations.

The Standard Rosomak-M1M Infantry Fighting Vehicle is fitted with a two man turret holding a 30mm automatic cannon with 150 rounds and a 7.62mm machine gun with 700 rounds. The troop bay can hold 8 infantry, accessible through a rear hatch. The original Rosomak design included a set of propellers for amphibious operations, but these were removed on the M1M variant due to increased armor protection rendering the vehicle too heavy to float.

The Rosomak-WEM Medical Evacuation vehicle is an unarmed variant fitted for front line Ambulance duties. with a crew of three, it the vehicle can carry 3 Litters and up to 4 ambulatory patients. It is fitted with minimal medical support systems, and is primarily employed for front line medical evacuation.

The Rosomak Loara-M is an Air defense vehicle fitted with a Pulse Doppler Air-Search radar and a pair of Multiple Launch ordinance Pods holding four medium range missiles each. The troop bay is reduced, with most of the space given over to the radar control systems which increase the vehicles crew to 4. Room for 4 passengers is retained, allowing security troops and spare vehicle crew to be carried.

The Rosomak-WD Command Vehicle is a variant of the Rosomak-WEM, fitted with command stations, secure communications systems, and Satellite comm. The vehicles crew is increased to 6, with no capability for additional passengers. The WD Command Vehicle is armed with a single remote operated 12.7mm machine gun turret with 700 rounds of ammunition.

PT-91 Tawrdy MBT

the PT-91 Tawrdy is an upgraded T-72 main battle tank, fitted with an auto-loader, active gun stabilization, digital fire control system, passive night vision, thermal imaging sights, and a laser designator. E.B.S.I.S. PT-91's are equipped with Explosive Reactive Armor for protection against explosive and kinetic attacks and capable of firing E.B.S.I.S. designed AT-20 125mm missiles from their main guns.

PZA Loara Anti-Aircraft Vehicle

based on the PT-91 Tawrdy hull, the PZA Loara is a division Air defense vehicle with twin 35mm radar directed auto cannons for anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense.

PZR Loara-M Anti-Aircraft Vehicle

A missile armed variant of the PZA Loara air defense vehicle, the Loara-M is equipped with a pair of Medium ranged Surface to Air Missile MLOP's.

BM-21 Grad 122mm MLRS

A standard unguided rocket artillery system, the Grad MLRS is an assembly of 40 rocket tubes mounted on the bed of a medium truck. Although the rockets are unguided, spin stabilization and mass volley fire makes it very effective at bombardment of targets up to 12.5 miles/20 kilometers away. capable of firing a variety of munitions, including fragmentation, high explosive, and anti-tank warheads, the E.B.S.I.S. has developed new munition types including 'carrier shells' holding scatterable anti-personnel and/or anti-tank mines, or self-guiding anti-tank submunitions. although the BM-21 system is decades old, its effectiveness ensures its continued deployment. The EBSIS has experimented with mounting the Grad MLRS weapon system on alternative vehicle platforms, but the truck based system continues to dominate due to its low cost and ease of operation. (the Grad MLRS fires 122mm unguided rockets, equal in destructive power to HE SRM's with 3x the blast radius, with a 25 miles/40km range. can fire volleys of up to 10 rockets 3 times a melee, or a single volley of all 40 rockets in a 1 melee long barrage. the rockets scatter in flight (treat as a random barrage, for each large target in a 1000ft area rolling a D4 for every 10 missiles fired to determine how many hit. against small targets treat it as having a 1000ft blast radius inflicting 1/2 the damage) and are fired sequentially, which makes them less vulnerable to countermeasures [destroying one will not give a chance to destroy the whole volley.])

PT-94 Goryl

The PT-94 Goryl is a main battle tank developed during the global war. Although cancelled in the early 90's, the E.B.S.I.S. resurrected the project after the Rain of Death, as part of its defense improvement plan. Based on lessons and technologies developed from the PT-91, the PT-94 also adopted concepts from the Israeli Merkava and German Leopard 2 Tanks. The tank uses a T-72 hull, modified for front mounting of the engine and the use of quick-replace modular armor plate. Equipped with a slab sided turret housing the same 125mm smooth bore cannon, auto-loader, stabilization system, and fire control employed on the PT-91 Tawrdy, as well as a 60mm Mortar and coaxial 7.62mm Machinegun. The crew compartment remains cramped, however with the shift to the use of a rear hatch for crew entry, resupply and embarkation are improved. the PT-94 Goryl was first deployed in 2016, and gradually replaced the PT-91 Tawrdy in Front line use. Like the PT-91, the PT-94 Goryl can be equipped with Explosive Reactive Armor and 125mm gun launched ATGM's.
