SERBIN PICNIC: Join us in the shade of the oaks and cedars for the 127th Serbin Picnic , Sunday, May 30, 2021, at the Serbin Picnic Grounds on FM 2239. Barbecue (Boneless Beef, Pork and Chicken) sold by the pound only from 9:00 a.m. until sold out. Ladies Aid Stand will be selling Potato Salad, Beans, Noodles and Pastries of all kinds. Youth League Hamburger Stand will begin selling at 4:00 p.m. Children’s booths & games, barrel train rides for the kids, sponsored by the PTLS beginning at 2:00 p.m. Entertainment will be provided from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. by the Czech Melody Masters. Wendish Museum will be open 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. We invite you to come out and be a part of the continuing celebration

WENDISH FISH FRY: The Texas Wendish Heritage Society will be hosting a drive through Fish Fry lunch on Sunday, June 6 at Serbin Picnic Grounds from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. The menu includes Fried Fish, Potato Salad, Brown Beans, Coleslaw and Hush Puppies. There will also be a country store with Desserts, Dry Noodles, etc. Tickets are $12 and calling to reserve tickets in encouraged. To reserve tickets call 979-366-2441 or email wendish@bluebon.net. All proceeds benefit the Texas Wendish Heritage Society Scholarship Fund.
