California Youth Symphony

The California Youth Symphony is the oldest independent youth symphony in California, with a long tradition of music-making at the highest level. For more than half a century, CYS has been at the forefront of the youth symphony scene, providing talented young musicians with the opportunity to perform symphonic literature of the great masters.

The mission of the California Youth Symphony is to provide talented young musicians of high school age and younger with the finest musical experience, and the opportunity for personal growth through the rehearsal and performance of symphonic music, as well as to offer the community outstanding musical performances.
