Sue's Chipped Beef on Toast
Ingredients
- 1 jar of dried beef
- 1 T butter
- 2 T flour
- 1 C milk
- pepper
- toasted loaf bread
Directions
- Melt butter in skillet over medium heat
- Add jar of beef and cook for a few minutes
- Stir in the flour and cook for another minute or two
- Reduce heat and add milk
- Cook until it comes to a thick gravy-like consistency. If it gets too thick, add more milk
- Season with pepper and spoon over toast
