Heuchera pulchella

This species is found in the Sandia Mountains (and apparently some adjacent mountain ranges) in central-northern New Mexico. While it is similar to members of the H. rubescens group, the flowers are larger and fewer, held on more compact inflorescences. Proportionally, the sexual parts are less exserted.

These pictures are from cultivated material collected at Sandia Crest (my first field collection as a graduate student!).
