Heuchera chlorantha

This is the sister species of H. cylindrica. It is one of the few species that is not specific to rock faces; I found it growing in a rotten log, where a Mitella would not have been surprising. The flowers are larger than in H. cylindrica, and the anthers seem under-sized. The foliage is larger and thinner. This species also has orange pollen, while H. cylindrica is one of the yellow-pollen species.
