An interesting species from higher elevations of the northern Coast Ranges, approximately from Mount Hood, Oregon northwards to Kodiak Island, Alaska. It overlaps geographically with H. micrantha var. diversifolia, but the latter tends to occur at lower elevations. Mixed populations exist. In the northern part of its range, H. glabra is the only Heuchera and occurs at sea level. These pictures come from a wild roadside population on Mount Baker, WA.
