I also mentioned that I’d been using vectorised graphics for my circuit diagrams in Latex, if you’d like to include that in your work you can use the circuitikz package, which is an extension of the tikz package. For circuits you only need to include \usepackage{circuitikz} in your preamble, but it’s beneficial to also include \usepackage{tikz} which allows you to include additional labels, arrows, dashed boxes etc.
