Tales from a wanderer

In Tolkein's Lord of the Rings Trilogy he included a wonderful poem "All that is Gold Does Not Glitter" including the line "not all those who wander are lost".

My entire life this line has spoke to me. I grew up moving around, and have an constant and burning desire to travel. I've seen much of the world, but there is still so much to see. This is the record of those travels, past and present.

I may be wandering, but I am not lost.

All That is Gold Does Not Glitter

All that is gold does not glitter,

Not all those who wander are lost;

The old that is strong does not wither,

Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

From the ashes a fire shall be woken,

A light from the shadows shall spring;

Renewed shall be blade that was broken,

The crownless again shall be king.
