"Dear All I am uploading this song as per the request of one of NCV's Fans. What I remember of this song -- My mother, born in Anakapalli (1906) and brought up in Bobbili till 1912, was taught Veena at home. She knew only Telegu then. Later, after her marriage at the age of 12, she learnt Tamil by herself. My father had presented her with a ledger -like bound register in which she used to write down the lyrics of Telegu/Tamil/Sanskrit songs with musical notations. When I grew up to be a boy of 5 or 6 years(1943-44), I used to go through this ledger but could read only the Tamil songs. This was one of the songs which she had heard from some one and noted down. Occasionally she will play this on Veena . I have also heard this from neighbour's radio. My mother will also narrate the small stories connected with Lord Mahavishnu which are referred to in this song. This can also be termed as a sort of Nindaasthuthi similar to "Nadamaadi Thirindha " and "Thandhai Thaai Irundhaal" addressed to Lord Shiva! I do not know whether the parents nowadays have that much time to spend on children . { Mother at supper-time, used to make children sit around, and distribute morsels of Sambhar Rice and Curd- Rice while telling these stories, so that while listening to the stories we used to consume adequate quantity of food to fill the stomach! Nowadays we all have time only to watch soaps on tv} When I reached Man's estate, I could get hold of this song, by which time, this great artiste had joined the majority.
