Jawbreaker Theory of
Consciousness
The point of life isn't about getting to the end point, it's about riding the curve along that point
My Personal Theory to life, consciousnes, time and the universe
If one thinks about their constant forward direction within life, it would seem fairly straight forward. To start we're born and along that straight path of life we come to the end (death) which has always been straight in front of us. But is it that simple? Nothing about our life and universe is a straight path if you connect a timeline to every event. Everything we're aware of has three dimensional (4th dimensional with time) context to it. The world isn't flat, the universe is a bubble, sound and lights waves, and even down to the smallest atom, there's dimension to them.. Nothing is straight forward, flat, right to the point.
So with that introduction to it, we move on to explaining the theory more in depth. Picture your consciousness as one of the rings within a whole jawbreaker. We start at one end and along life we ride the 3-d curve of experience/time to the other end while never really touching the other rings or intersecting with them. However we now come to one of the founding points to this theory. There is no end to a cyclic timeline, it's a pulse. When the end is reached, due to it's curved nature one would then just continue riding the line back on a new ring to the start while there would be a slight disruption while the timeline fed back onto itself (Like an Echo delay)... While the part of the theory that is debatable is if you'd live your life within reverse on the flip side of that line. One wouldn't be aware that since time would be running backwards as well. So for all intents and purpose, one would still see their life going forward since everything is running backwards in context of your life.
The rings within this theory are different dimensions of your consciousness with the core being the beginning of time/consciousness. The current understanding is the closer your ring is to the center the closer you are from the start of your time/consciousness, however the quicker your consciousness would pass to the next ring since time is a constant, and there's less curve to your consciousness early on. As one ages and gets more experience from life and time the ring one resides upon move further away from the core thus taking longer to ride out. Within a new ring the slate is wiped clean with very little possibility to interact with the other older rings, hence why one has no memory of that past ring. But it is possible. A sense of deja vu, a 6th sense, it's all an echo from another ring bleeding into your current ring. Or that consciousness has found a path into the other rings through a gateway, but without knowing the whole story of that ring, the information would be disorganized and chaotic to the consciousness. A vision, a dream, an instinct, a feeling of familiarity is how it would be translated into your current consciousness.
Encounters with the other rings are possible simply because like the cyclic ring itself, the rings themselves have ridges and dimensions to them as well. Like a 3-d sound wave, the rings emanate dimension in all axis and interlock between your past rings, and that alone causes gateways, gaps and weaknesses to exploit. Think of it as it was explained to me using the String Theory. We see a cable running along a telephone pole, due to the limitations of our perception that cable looks 2d when viewed from the side. Even looking down the end of it to the other end, it's 2d. However pretend your an ant along that cable. You're now allowed to travel not only back and forth among that 2d plain, but all around it (up/down) giving it a 3d dimension. Add the time it takes an ant to do all of this and that's the 4th dimension. Unlike a smooth cable however, the rings of consciousness have peaks and valley's that interlock with other rings to give the appearance of a unified architecture when viewed outside the consciousness.
Just like a ring on a tree there are varying depths to each ring. These depend on a variety of factors such as experience, how long your life was, how rich and rewarding you made that life for yourself. An early death would result in a thin ring similar to a tree starved for water for a year. A thin ring would offer you far less opportunity to echo your knowledge from your past ring as would a thick fully engorged one. Meaning if one were to die of S.I.D.S their consciousness ring would be so thin it would would only function as a barrier between the next one creating even more distance between your mindsets without a link. Which is why it would be important to live to full term within each life, to help support a fully dynamic collective of rings. Likewise, a long, rich, rewarding life full of education, self reflection, humility would offer one the thickest of consciousness rings. This ring would also offer far more chance to interact with your previous rings. Much like the Buddha belief that your next life stands a greater chance of improving based upon how you live your current life. The only thing they were missing within their theory is the visual context of how these consciousness are structured and linked, and thus repeated.
Touching on the Buddhist believe, we come to how Heaven and Hell are perceived. Each religion has their own view on this post-life dimension for eternity. How we're doomed to repeat a mind not worth living if we're unable or unwilling to make the changes needed to improve the overall picture of our collective rings. If you can visualize the inner ring of the Jawbreaker (pictured below for u guidance) healthy, rewarding rings could be visualized by a few positive primary colors, while the negative rings would be a darker, void of light.
To Do: The jawbreaker theory doesn't explain the 3d paradigm within the brain that explains consciousness. Between each layer of membranes within the brain are layers upon layers (cells) that represent the physical reflection of consciousness. (similar to the jawbreaker, but only cross-hatched 3-dimensional design with the 4th dimension of time imposed) And within those independent layers resides a speed process that has to be correctly tuned by the mind (instinctive consciousness) to achieve consciousness. Models are unable to mimic consciousness because they don't account for the error correcting of a vastly over-complex system like the human brain. The more complex something, latency is introduced so all systems communicate properly. It is within this latency that consciousness exists. In nature, if the body/mind was simple it would do it's task without the need to over complicate such things as with consciousness.
But since we sleep on our back as a mammal, this flattens out the back side of the head, while pushing for growth on the pro-frontal cortex at night. This expanded power within the front causes an increased latency within the prefrontal cortex which gives us a better consciousness. The head also acts as a harmonic resonator chamber for consciousness, thus the shape of the skull has a direct effect on your consciousness.
Greed comes to us as the one tries to attain closest to that center, but that invalidates the whole theory since the point of life isn't to get to that end center as that's time, and one cannot attain that dimension of consciousness (pure time).
An oscillating wave form representing the 4D timeline of the universe, with respect to consciousness (They are linked). This model accounts for the "Big Bang" being somewhere off to the left (not shown) as our current position somewhere right before the first largest interruption. Meaning, like everything the universe is cyclic in nature, and it'll be some billions of years before it clams down into a pattern that can support consciousness. Don't worry tho, you won't even realize you had to wait so long for another chance at consciousness... You just might not like where you end up.
Consciousness can only exist within the calm timeline of the universe.... Sorry.. :(
