Local history group at the Littleover June extravangaza

The Local History group attended the Littleover June extravaganza and was surprised at the level of interest in the village's past. A photographic display became the centre of attraction. Photographs of village life and its buildings old and new attracted the most interest with people reminiscing over their past, with comments such as "I remember this as a child" .

There was so much interest that Jan Jackson, the group organiser, is considering more events later this year and extends an invitation to everyone with information about the area to either contact her or to attend a history group meeting.
