The management desires to inform readers that after this issue the Courier is being taken over by a Company known as ' The Kangaroo Island Courier Limited.' This Company is composed of nine Kangaroo Island business men who, upon hearing that there was a possibility of the Plant being sold, decided that Kangaroo Island should not be left without its weekly newspaper. First of all the management would like to pay the highest tribute to Mr W. W. Cook for the enterprise and energy with which be carried on the paper for approximately 22 years, and until his recent illness rendered the task beyond him. We know that you will all join with us in wishing Mr Cook a speedy recovery from his present ill health, and in expressing the appreciation of the whole of this Island for the great work be has done for it in the past.
