Before the start of the day, shade clothes should be inspected to ensure its integrity. On the Daily Food Safety Checklist (Appendix H), note if you see any tears, animal excrement, or animal intrusion. This is done to ensure the crops under the shade clothes are not contaminated.
If excrement is noticed, flag the area under. Remove the products and dispose of it. Log the incident in Appendix F. Contamination Incidence Report Log.
If animal intrusion is observed, implement measure to remove them, flag the area, and remove the products affected. Log the incident in Appendix E. Pest Control Log.
If tears are noticed, contact Tony Serrano to ensure the tear is fixed. The tear should be fixed in a timely fashion to ensure the continued integrity of food safety. The incident should then be logged in Appendix F. Contamination Incidence Report Log.
