At the beginning of the season Field Managers will be responsible for performing a Risk Assessment (Appendix G) to analyze field condition and identify potential risks and possible mitigation measure to prevent these risks from contaminating crops.
Any corrective actions will be noted on Appendix G. and implemented per budgetary constraints. If it is an immediate threat to food safety, a corrective action should be installed within 72 hours and followed up on.
If any corrective actions are implemented in the growing season, they will be noted on the appropriate log. For example, to control animals, corrective actions will be noted on the Pest Control Log. Well maintenance on the Well Inspection Log

During routine field or facility monitoring, corrective actions will be reviewed to ensure continue efficiency.
Any corrective actions found during an internal audit will be corrected within 3 months, if it is not an immediate threat to food safety. Any immediate threats to food safety, will instigate the immediate detention of the product from going to the supply chain.
JAS Family Farm Organics is committed to implement disciplinary action when employees or visitors violate food safety policies and practices.
Any person observed not following this policy will face the following consequences
Verbal Warning and retrained on the policy and procedure
Written warning and a day suspension from work
7 day suspension from work and with potential for job suspension
