JAS Family Farms food safety team is responsible for the strategic maintenance and development of the food safety program. We meet at least quarterly and prior to and after food safety audits to review results and make changes as necessary to the program. Meeting minutes are attached in "Project Updates" section.

The President/General Manager oversees all the food safety team and ensures optimal job performance. In his absence, Admin Director will assume responsibilities. Along with Abigail, he will do document reviews on all longs and test results pertaining to food safety.

Abigail is responsible for managing and updating the food safety plan and creating records, update changes related to management systems and food safety policies. Abigail will conduct water tests and environmental swabbing. Along with Tony, she will do document reviews. She provides audit representation during the audit along with Tony Serrano, President/General Manager and Wendy Guzman, Administrative Director. If not available, either President or Administrative Director will cover her job responsibilities.
Francisco is responsible for recording food safety record keeping at field level on the Daily Checklist. He can delegate this tasks to his assistants. He then gives the Daily Checklists to Compliance Specialist to transcribe onto food safety logs.
The Packinghouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring daily activities outlined the food safety program and being implemented according to the food safety plan. In the absence of a packing house supervisor, the General Manager must ensure compliance to food safety and organic standards by all packinghouse employees.
To be used in case of recalls and any immediate threat to food safety
General Manager- Tony Serrano shall coordinate with customers during the recall process. The General Manager will delegate the Admin Director to perform any traceback of product and gather all relevant food safety paperwork from fields.

Team lead Rebecca Rabago (Wholesum Harvest, Corporate QA)- Shall assisting the General Manager to investigate the events leading up to the suspected status of product and be in charge of gathering any paperwork from the packing house for product sold to Wholesum Harvest.
