An Approved Supplier List is maintained and monitored. Approved suppliers will supply the following information annually upon request by JAS Family Organic Farms. If they can’t supply such information they will no longer be continued as a supplier. If no longer used or additional suppliers used, the attached Vendor List will be modified accordingly.

All soil amendments must be approved for use by current OMRI lists or the UDSA National Organic Program. JAS Farmily Farm's approved organic material list issued by CCOF serves as the approved ag input list.

Certificates of analyses for heavy metals (Cadmium (Cd) Arsenic (As), Chromium (Cr), Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg),Nickel (Ni), and Vanadium (V) shall accompany all compost and BSAAO products applied.
For organic certification and food safety, if any input applications are outsourced or applied by custom applicators, they should provide the appropriate documentation related to cleaning of equipment and how they prevent cross contamination between organic and non-organic fields.
All BSAAO used must come with a Certificate of Bacterial Analysis and annual letters of guarantee stating the production, handling, conveyance and storage of the BSAAO is sufficient to not be a source of contamination to crops and filed accordingly.

Any laboratory used to perform bacterial testing for the following purposes (water quality, soil testing and testing of BSAAOs) must be and accredited ISO 17025 or an equivalent accreditation of GLP lab or national or state recognition. JAS Family Farms will have accreditation of all laboratories on hand.
Shall provide evidence of continued food safety education, as applicable.
Proper documentation must be shown when using the outsourced service.
Pest Control, Facility Sanitation, and Refrigeration Unit maintenance are all outsourced and the responsibility of PMC cooling, facility owners. PMC performs weekly checks of the facility grounds and cooling rooms per PMC Cooling SOP 3.02.01 during times when food is stored at the facility and an inspection log is maintained.
It is the responsibility of Administrative Director and Compliance Specialist to compile the aforementioned documents and file them in the Food Safety Binder or upload on this website.
