Mixes (a.k.a waffles) BYOF dinner.

(ESL: BYOF stands for "Bring Your Own Food". ESL stands for "English as a Second Language")

This incident happened on a saturday night. As every saturday we had done all our grocery-shopping during the morning and we have got fresh delicious pane mediterraneo (ralph's at $3.54/ loaf). As dinnertime approached we prepared all the fresh cheese, proscciuto, turkey breast, tomatoes, olive oil and salt. All ready. We sat on the table to start our feast when we saw mixes arriving with... well what turned out to be her dinner: fresh mouse "caught on the run".

She came close to the screen -we had the front door open- and she decided that her dish would be our floor mat. As we were eating our delicious, fresh, tasty "bread-with-oil" (a.k.a. pa amb tomaquet)" she was enjoying her mouse, which would not have been that gross if it weren't that we could hear the bonds crushing and the frantic slurping. It was really, really gross.

But that was not all. As a well-fed cat, she did not finish her dish and she did not clean her table either. We had to deal with a rolling head on the floor mat and the sticky intestines. Luckily for us, the ants in our garden took care of the left overs in just a couple of days.
