Non-standard interaction of neutrinos and their effect in neutrino oscillation experiments

Various charged current and neutral current non-standard interactions of neutrinos with matter and their constraints as obtained from various experiments will be discussed. The standard neutrino oscillation probabilities can change significantly in presence of such non-standard interactions during production, propagation and detection of neutrinos. Possible effect of such interactions will be discussed in brief in the context of  searching leptonic CP violation in past and future oscillation experiments. Although leptonic CP violating phase and neutrino mass hierarchy is completely unknown till now, however, still there are certain possibilities of obtaining limits on the non-standard interaction parameters from neutrino oscillation experiments.
