Phenomenology of Gauged Flavour Symmetries
The quark flavour-symmetry may be gauged to avoid massless Goldstone modes in
the low-energy spectrum. This results in a plethora of new heavy degrees of
freedom: flavour-violating vector-bosons, flavoured scalars, and fermions,
introduced to cancel anomalies of the new gauge sector. In this talk, I
discuss the implications of this gauging with emphasis on the resulting
flavour-phenomenology. I discuss the prediction of Delta F=2 and Delta F=1
observables, their correlations and how the model can account for possible
anomalies in the flavour data.
