Investigating Mysteries in Bottomonium Decays at Belle
The Belle Experiment observed a number of unexpected behaviors in decays of Upsilon(5S) to other bottomonium states in its last few years of operation. These include enhanced rates of the decays to Upsilon(nS)pipi (n=1, 2, 3), first observations of decays to h_b(mP)pipi (m=1,2), and new charged bottomonium-like resonances in the decays to both Upsilon(nS)pipi. We present a scan of Upsilon(nS)pipi decays in the Upsilon(5S) and Upsilon(6S) regions to investigate some of these properties.
