Charged current quasielastic scattering in the MINERvA experiment

Understanding the interactions of neutrinos with nuclei, especially in the region around 1 GeV neutrino energy, is important both in its own right, and as input to the current and next generation of neutrino oscillation experiments. MINERvA is a dedicated neutrino-nucleus cross section experiment located in the NuMI neutrino beam at Fermilab, taking measurements on a variety of nuclei. I will present progress on measurements of the charged current quasielastic cross section in both neutrino and antineutrino scattering, and discuss prospects for future analyses with reduced uncertainties.
