First evidence for Vector-boson fusion H→WW* and Higgs
motivated future searches.
Recently, the first evidence of VBF produced H→WW* has been reported by ATLAS experiment. The observed (expected) significance of the VBF production is 3.2σ, (2.7σ). For a Higgs boson mass of 125.36 GeV, the best-fit value the signal strength for VBF production, µ_VBF, is measured to be 1.27^{+0.53}_{-0.45}. This channel provides one of the strongest constraints to the fermion coupling strength of the Higgs boson to date. In this seminar, I will give the details of final Run 1 measurement. Then, I will briefly discuss the future direction of the searches motivated by Higgs boson.
