Bernhard Schwingenheuer (MPI Heidelberg)

The search for neutrinoless double beta decay is the only sensitive method to establish

whether the neutrino is its own anti-particle, i.e. a Majorana particle. In the upcoming years several experiments with much improved sensitivity will take data. The different

experimental techniques are reviewed as well as the current status of the field.
