1. Overview

Important things EVERYONE should know:

-There are great monuments around the world called Pillars that most people believe were left here by ancient dragons. By attuning to one of these Pillars, ordinary individuals are able to grant themselves supernatural abilities. This is known as channeling Quasith (or, as we call it out of character, magic).

-About 25 years ago, there was an invasion from the West that destroyed one of these pillars. The aftermath left a devastating impact on the nearby Human, Centaur, and Brenthian societies.

-The Western invasion was eventually stopped by an army led by a human known as Cyax, the Liberator. After the war, he was named as King of Felspar, though he is generally not active in politics.
