Background

Before the fall of Mercayen, Emeri was the broken pillar's biggest rival at attracting commerce. Though the two pillars represent some distinctly different ideas about wealth and progress, there is enough similarity between the two to attract many displaced northerners after the war. As a result, the already flourishing pillar of Emeri has seen even more growth in recent years.

Emeri participated in the Battle against Shul. Unlike his other siblings who were physically there, he survived the bout.
