Background

As with his predecessor, Chracio magical domain's are over blink and body magic.

Glad is also uniquely skilled in staging, weaponry, telekenisis, electric evocation, and necromancy.

History

Gladius was born and orphaned in Cyelena during the war. After, he found himself at the First and later escaped from there into the desert where he became a brigand. Eventually attuning to Chracio, he took his mercenary services on the road and joined the Silver Foxes on their many adventures, which lead to him becoming Sentinel of the Dragon and, after the death of Chracio, a dragon in his own right.

Unable to resurrect Chracio after the Battle of Dragons and believing his people needed a dragon walking around to both rally and protect them in the coming wars, Glad of War sought to become that replacement and did so through sponsorship from Mercayen and Veckra, the latter of whom respected Glad's part in the demise of his hated foe but only agreed to the request as long as Glad promised to curb the more savage portions of his pillar's culture.

Membership

Gladius has more broadened conditions for attuning to the pillar, widening the definition of ambition and greatness to extend beyond purely physical or survival oriented definitions.

As with his predecessor, Archons of Gladius are chosen based on how far they've come in life. Ideal candidates are those who've started lowest and attained the most.
