Background

Jurlim is a rumored dragon mentioned in certain obscure works. Not much is known about him in modern times. He is said to have been the only dragon to evenly match and compete against the red dragon Shul, offering resistance to Shul's dominance. This would put him in a class of dragons with Shul and Veckra.

According to Veckra, Jurlim's pillar lies in Brenthia in the underground Tusker tunnels. The Silver Foxes have unknowingly encountered some of his pillar's followers, a particularly primitive tribe of Tuskers opposed to the more dominant tribe nearby who have constructed a complex and civilized city. Jurlim's Tuskers were mistaken for cannibals because they keep trophies of their fallen Tusker foes and make tributes and tools from the bones, tusks, and skulls. The Silver Foxes have used these trinkets to establish their own friendliness (or non-enemy standing) as well as for trade.
