Despite the girls protests, you carry her up the shaft toward the light. As you do, you start to feel the warmth of the sunshine on your face. You smile, soaking it up. The girl squirms, uncomfortably.
As you get closer, the warmth continues to grow. It ceases to be warm and becomes hot, and the comfort gives way to astonishment that sunlight can give off so much heat. Your mind, having already decided that it is sunlight, does not realize that it isn't until it's too late. As you crest the tunnel, you are greeted not with fresh air and sunlight, but a lava flow giving off light and intense heat. You back away, realizing now why the girl did not want to go on this path.
But, as you turn, you are greeted by fifteen lizards. They quickly surround you, but do not attack. Instead, they herd you back down the tunnel, in the direction you had escaped from.
