Task: Copy and complete the table below.
What did you learn from your analysis?
This list of criteria will provide the parameters for your design sketching and then to evaluate your final design.
Think about the practical considerations of this project, how it works, the aesthetics and the needs of the end user.
Task: Generating Design Ideas.
On a piece of paper, 'brainstorm' as many design ideas as you can. Draw small thumbnail sketches with a little annotation to help describe the idea. You can use my "Grid of Creativity" technique...
Please do collaborate with your peers to help generate ideas and give feedback to others. Design is not a solitary experience so collaborate!
Participate in a wall walk of design ideas an offer feedback for others.
Choose 1 of these ideas to develop further and produce the best quality design sketches. Refer to your Consideration & Constraints table and gain feedback to help you decide which designs to develop further.
This sketch should be completed in either ISOMETRIC or Orthogonal and should be rendered. You may use isometric grid paper if you wish. (Attached at the bottom of the page)
