At the Level
What did you learn from your research and analysis?
This list of criteria will provide the parameters for your design sketching and then to evaluate your final design. Think about the practical considerations of this project, how it works, the aesthetics and why you are actually designing this product.
Constraints (non-negotiable.) Considerations (Desirable)
Generate ideas:
Using the isometric dot paper (found at the bottom of this page and on Compass) sketch 2 design ideas for your portable charger.
You should draw these to scale
Include dimensions
Render with care

Above the Level
Design your circuit:
Sketch out how you will connect your components. Which panels will your use? Which battery pack?
Matching the voltage of the panel to the voltage of your battery pack is critical.
If the voltage from the panel between 2 and 3 volts more than the battery pack voltage, then the pack will charge.
If the voltage is significantly higher, you may damage your batteries.
If equal to or less than the batteries, they will not charge!

Above the Level
Draw a bird's eye view of the layout of the interior of your charger. This should clearly show where each component will be situated and how they will be connected.
Again, this needs to be to scale.
