Wiring Notes

AC Wiring:

DC Wiring:

    • Wire #38 - Stereo

    • Wire #22, 23 - Nave lights

    • Wire #36 Bilge Blower

Cabin Stereo wiring:

The main salon stereo will be wired to the "Music Center" breaker, which goes to TB3-20, position #9 (next to the bottom). That will provide the main 12V power for the stereo (black). White (ground) will be tied to the bus bar. A yellow wire will be run for "battery backup" of stereo stations - but I haven't decided yet how it will be wired - if it will be tied through a fuse to the main DC power bus, or tied at the bus strip to wire #38, or tied at the stereo. Part of whether the extra wire is used will depend on whether the stereo actually needs it (will the stereo maintain settings even if both wires lose power?).
