I. Bobin, N. Petrovskaya. USAGE OF INERTIAL MODEL OF 1ST ORDER WITH DELAY FOR ANALYSIS OF KINETICS OF FLOTATION, 2008.

The model allowing to describe correctly kinetics and speed of flotation of raw mineral material of any kind are proposed. The model take into account delay in extraction of a component in concentrate, upper limit of component’s extraction, inclination of e(t) parameter* and can be considered as universal analytical tool for investigation of kinetics and speed of flotation. It is recommended to use the model for optimization of technological schemes and algorithms of control of flotation.

* e(t) – kinetics of flotation (component’s extraction)

Key words: kinetics of flotation, speed of flotation, inertial model, copper-zinc ore, delay, extraction.

N. Petrovskaya & Co. USAGE OF GUTTERS WITH CONVERGENT SIDES FOR CONCENTRATION OF FOAMY PRODUCTS, 2007.

It is show that height of foamy and sub-foamy layers increases during movement of foamy product in gutter with convergent sides. Destruction of foamy product occurs more slowly. Large speed gradient along height of foam stream provides mutual transition (sliding) of foam layers and origination of essential deformation of bubbles in foam as well as torques on bubbles, what intensifies the processes of secondary concentration of minerals.

Separation of foamy product in gutters with convergent sides can replace at least one cleaning flotation operation, providing the same parameters.

N. Petrovskaya & Co. PULP AERATION WITH ELECTROLYSIS GASES IN FLOTATION OF SULFIDE ORES, 2006.

High flotation efficiency of sulfide ores in pulp aeration with electrolysis gases is stipulated by the presence of essential quantity of very small bubbles and selective separation of solute gases on the surface of minerals intensifying flotation of fine particles via coalescent mechanism.
