PROSPECTIVE RARE METALS
By Ph.D. Natalia Petrovskaya
If you ask each of us: "What metals are the most expensive?", then most likely we will respond: "Gold, platinum and silver, for sure." Indeed, it is so historically. Noble metals are the most expensive.
However, life changes the "Metal Forbes list". Today in the market more and more popular are Rare Metals - metals with amazing properties and relatively low content in ores. These metals are used for the manufacturing of high-tech products, each - in its field of technology.
In my opinion, the most promising the following Rare Metals:
Rare Light Metals: Beryllium, Lithium
Refractory Metals: Niobium, Tantalum, Titanium, Zirconium, Hafnium, Rhenium
Trace Metals: Gallium, Indium, Germanium, Hafnium, Rhenium
Rare Earth Metal: Scandium, Europium, Terbium, Dysprosium, Neodymium, Cerium, Lanthanum, Yttrium
Radioactive Metals: Uranium, Thorium
