Oil.  July 2025.   My mom (11 years old) picking plums at Swahl Ranch in 1943.  First time using a palette knife.

Oil.  2025 September. Collection of Don Askey and Rivka Vaughs.  Found this canvas in Goodwill store (couldn't find initial artist but painiting appears to be completed by the Anhui Province in China) with this figure and beads on it.  The color was flat with brown and beige tones.   Saw this at Goodwill and had Don come over and we painted this in about two hours.  I spent time later establishing pattern bothin inside and outside the figure.
