I am sorry to write that one of our childhood and Bowen High School classmates, Arnie Johns, passed away last December. Many of us remember Arnie as a great neighborhood kid, one of the gang. Always there, either organizing a pickup baseball game, playing cards or sticking up for one of us who got themselves in a jam. As the years pass we come to realize that although we all have had many different experiences over the years, Bowen High for us, was a special place in time. I had not seen, or spoken to Arne for many years, yet the memories and the bond that most all of us have for each other seems to last for a lifetime.

Let’s cherish these memories and our friendship at this moment of our loss.
