James B. Bennett Rare Plant Preservation Fund

Dr. Jim Bennett, University of Wisconsin-Madison Honorary Fellow of Botany and Institute for Environmental Studies Adjunct Professor, created the James P. Bennett Rare Plant Preservation Fund to provide permanent funding for the restoration, monitoring, inventorying and preservation of Wisconsin’s rare plants.

The Fund provides support to organizations such as the Department of Natural Resources to support their plant preservation and protection efforts.
