The Botanical Club’s monthly events will resume on October 24th with an Aster Workshop led by DNR botanist Kevin Doyle. Fall is a time when asters color the prairies and forests and frustrate those trying to identify them. This workshop will focus on the genus Symphyotrichum but will touch on species formerly assigned to the genus Aster (e.g., Doellingeria, Ionactis, Eurybia). Join us for an opportunity to learn identification tips and examine specimens.
